Puppies
Ahmahr
Nahr’s puppies are well socialized. Ahmahr Nahr had two litters
born in November,
2005. The first litter born shortly before Thanksgiving is sired
by DCH Astarte’s Siete with Pips, SC, out of DCH Ahmahr Nahr’s
African Dancer, SC. The history of both of these dogs is covered
extensively in this site. This breeding produced five puppies, three
boys and two girls. Two of the puppies are tri-colored, three are
red and white. There is one tri-girl and one red and white girl.
This is the second time that Siete and Dancer have been bred. Last
year’s litter produced World Winner Puppy, CH
Ahmahr Nahr’s Just a Little Just Call Me Madam. We call this
the reverse litter because
the markings on these dogs are pretty much the reverse of last year’s
markings, i.e., the tri from the original litter had
a white star on black. These will have a black star on white. They
are incredibly even and incredibly square. At the three week plus
mark when this section of the website was updated, their mom, Dancer,
is the little girl in the wagon in pictured number one above in
her puppy year.
The second litter born at Ahmahr Nahr’s stud was bred when
our own CH Ahmahr Nahr’s Turquoise Warrior, SC, came to visit
CH Ahmahr Nahr’s Lady in Red, JC. This litter was born the
Sunday after Thanksgiving and includes five red and white puppies
of which three are boys and two are girls. This litter is just over
the two week mark. These puppies appear to be very square
conformation,
evenly marked and all have full blown collars. Their dad, Turq,
is out of our African line, and this represents a good melding of
the African and domestic which we hope produces a dog of superior
health, soft personality and blinding side gate, in brilliant red
color. Lady, shown in picture number one above is the girl with
her paws on the wagon ledge.
Not to be outdone, the
third sister, CH Ahmahr Nahr’s Sagitta, SC (sitting on the
ground in picture number one above) is bred to CH Ahmahr Nahr’s
Turquoise Warrior, SC. This girl was called Fauna and is owned by
my Florida friends, Michelle and Breana Smith-Barbour. This is a
cooperative venture as we own Turq. Turk lives with
the Barbours in Homestead, Florida. Fauna’s litter should
be whelped in January and we hope for nice stud fee puppies.
All Ahmahr Nahr’s puppies receive their microchip identification,
initial puppy vaccinations, necessary worming before they leave
the kennel. They are sold subject to a contract and health guarantee
with right of first refusal provision should the buyer be unable
to retain the dog for any reason. We always answer questions. We
take reservations. We co-own and we co-breed.
It is our hope that the SICLAM Puppy 2006 is in one of these litters,
and that a possible World Winner dog may
also be found here.
Regardless, puppies are a joy and makes up for any of the work involved.
We breed because we are hoping to better our line and find the perfect
show and/or performance dog for ourselves. Incidentally, we find
great pups for others.
