2009 Season

MADAM - SECOND GENERATION WORLD CHAMPION 2007

Champion Ahmahr Nahr's Just Call Me Madam JC, won the World

Champion Bitch Title, in Mexico City, in May 2007.  In doing this, she follows in her mother's foot steps, DC Ahmahr Nahr's Africian Dancer SC, who won this title in Brazil in 2004.  We believe that Madam is the only basenji  to be a second generation World Champion ever.

Although, I hate to say it, Afor a girl@ she has had a heck of a career and she is only 3, a bright future lies ahead of her.  Madam has been an AKC Top Dog in the years 2006 and 2007 and qualified for the Eukanuba Championship in both years.  She earned her junior courser degree in the year 2006, she plans to see if she can follow her mother into the record books, by earning a Field Championship and hopefully, Best in the Field.

Madam, was SICALAM Joven, in Puerto Rico in the year 2006 and this year she was the SICALAM Champion Bitch in Costa Rica.  She won the FCI Las Americas and Caribbean, section title for a basenji bitch and now holds titles in the CKC, AKC, FCI, FCM, Columbia, Argentina, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and SICALAM.

Madam has truly fulfilled the promise that she showed when she was Best Basenji and Spitz and Primitive Group puppy, at the World Show in Buenos Aires in the year 2005.

She is always happiest when she is off with Jake.  At the end of the year, she went to Canada to help Jake wind up his show and year and prepare to join him in showing at Westminster in 2008.  The two of them will go off coursing in 2008 and depending upon how they do, she may or may not try her hand at the whelping box.  Madam is one of those rare bitches, to thankfully, test clear, on the Fanconi marker test and so a bright future awaits her.

In 2008 Madam went off of to course with Jake and she acquitted herself well and got her picture on AKC website again in the Westminster website and in incredibly limited showing in the U.S. between October 11, and mid-December 2007, she qualified for the Eukanuba Classic in December of 2008 and went to California with her handler, Sergio Espejo to show.  She did not win at the Classic, but she did win her previous two (2) days.  In addition, Madam went off coursing to accompany Jake, and earned the Senior Coursing title and points toward her field championship.  It was decided, however, when we raced at the Stitt Ranch in Moriarty, she preferred to stay in her box where it was nice and warm with no cactus needles.  We now only course Madam on the green grass.  Madam is considering going to Canada to show in Eastern Canada this year where she will be close to her beloved Jake.
